Erik Fischer is one of the few lawyers in Colorado that has litigated most, if not all, types of civil matters. He holds experience as both a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney. He has successfully prosecuted and defended cases involving personal injury, insurance (including bad faith), real estate, patents, business, corporate entities, partnerships, and probate.

Erik also has a strong business background with a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Colorado, holds a Colorado Real Estate Brokers License, and has owned and operated many small businesses.

Thomas (Russ) Peterman has been a certified mediator for over 15 years. He was certified in North Carolina and trained under Anderson Little, who authored the book “Making Money Talk”. He has mediated many different types of disputes, but his focus has been insured claims. Russ has practiced as both an insurance defense attorney litigating complex asbestos defense cases and as a plaintiff’s injury attorney in both Colorado and North Carolina. His experience as a civil trial attorney on both sides of insured disputes has allowed him to mediate and resolve cases that both sides felt were “lost causes.”

Russ, while practicing in North Carolina, was a mediator for the AAA North Carolina Disaster Mediation Program which assisted residential property owners in the fair and timely resolution of insurance property claims which arose out of natural disasters like hurricanes, which frequently damaged homes on the North Carolina coast.
