Ellie started her legal career as a clerk typist, then moved her way up to becoming a legal secretary/legal assistant and eventually working her way to Paralegal, earning her associate degree in Paralegal studies. Ellie is a paralegal member of the Colorado Bar Association and NALA | The Paralegal Association. Ellie is also a Notary Public of the State of Colorado.
Ellie is an integral part of our civil litigation team and assists lead counsel with overall case management. She is responsible for the day-to-day legal aspects of a case, from the onset of litigation, through discovery, mediation, and assists in all facets of trial preparation, trial and post-trial matters. She oversees and manages the estate/probate files and the civil caseload of complex matters, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
Ellie was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. She moved to Colorado in July of 2019. She misses her family and friends she left behind as well as the all-year-round sunny weather that Hawaii boasts, but she is more excited for her new life here in Colorado. Ellie and her husband Dom have a son, daughter and two grandchildren. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking & baking, riding motorcycles, playing the piano and taking her Yorkies out for their daily walks.
